Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

DevJobz (devjobz.com) is operated by an individual, not a registered company. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the site and why.

What we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address, and avatar, provided when you sign up through our authentication provider, Clerk.
  • Job posting content: whatever you submit when creating a company profile or job listing.
  • Basic usage analytics: page views and aggregate traffic patterns, collected by Umami, a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics tool. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we collect it

  • To create and secure your account.
  • To publish and display job listings and company profiles you submit.
  • To send you transactional emails about your job postings, such as approval or rejection notices. We don't send marketing emails.
  • To understand aggregate site usage and improve the site.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers (subprocessors) to run the site:

  • Clerk — authentication and account management.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional emails (job approval/rejection notices).
  • Umami — cookieless, aggregate website analytics.
  • Cloudflare — content delivery and security/bot protection.
  • Our hosting and database provider, to store your account and listing data.

We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Cookies

We use a session cookie set by Clerk to keep you signed in. Umami analytics are cookieless. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your account and job listing data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete your account and listing data, except where we need to retain limited records for legal or security purposes.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at the address below.

Children's privacy

DevJobz isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the “last updated” date above when we do.
